Asos offers women’s fashion and men’s clothing online. But if you’re not buying their clothes anymore, you might be considering to close your account. In that case: I can tell you that all it takes, is a message to their customer support team.
I’ll show you below steps I took to remove myself from their network (and their answer to it):
1 Go to www.asos.com/help/pgehtml.aspx?cid=17989&CTARef=Header and scroll down to ‘Contact us > Email > Ask a question’
2 Select Question about: ‘My account > I want to change my account details’
3 Fill in the form and send it
You need to fill in 6 fields in the form you’ll arrive on:
1 – Your name
2 – Email address
3 – Location
4 – Any further info you can give us:
Write your request in this field. It needs to contain your name, date of birth, billing address and email address to be valid, so it could be like this:
Dear customer support of Asos,
I want to close my account. Can you do that for me please? (as indicated in your FAQ)
• My name: [Fill in]
• Date of birth: [Fill in]
• Billing address: [Fill in]
• Email: [Fill in]
Kind regards,
[Your name]
✅ Result
A few hours later, I received a confirmation that my profile has been deactivated, as you can see in their email:
