PhonePe is a popular payment app in India. But if you’re not using it anymore, you might be considering to close your account. If that case: Don’t look further, because I’m about to explain how to delete your PhonePe account permanently.
I’ll show you below how I managed to remove my profile using the iPhone app (but steps remain the same for the Android app):
1 Open the PhonePe app
2 Choose ‘My account’
3 Select ‘Help’ in the my account menu
4 Now you need to choose PhonePe account
5 Tap Deleting an account link
6 Choose Contact us
7 Type a message like ‘I’m not using this PhonePe account anymore so please close it’.
✅ Result: Your account will soon been closed
As soon as you’ve sent this message, a ticket ID is automatically generated and your account will be removed within 24 hours.
