Many runners and cyclists adore the Strava app. But when you’re done running or cycling, you might be considering to close your account. In that case: Don’t look further, because I’m about to explain how you can that in the Settings of your account.
I’ll show you below with pictures how I managed to remove my profile on a desktop computer:
1 Go to www.strava.com/login and sign in to your account
by entering your email and password
2 Click on your picture in the upper right corner > Settings
3 Select ‘Privacy’ in the left menu
4 Final step – Scroll down to the bottom
where you’ll notice a Deactivate account section.
> Confirm that you understand that you won’t be able to recover the activities that are saved in your account
> Enter your account password
> Click on Deactivate account
Congratulations, you have now closed your account and you’ll be redirected to their homepage.
